We now have a private space for us to converse and connect
Today I’m announcing a brand new addition to my Substack publication: the ScribeTribe Weekly Scroll subscriber chat.
In keeping with practicing what I preach, this year we are all-in on Substack. It is the writer’s platform. In ScribeTribe, I’ve always said we must write for our readers, and build a platform that belongs to us. Not Zuckerberg, or even Musk. You. A place to share and nurture your readers.
This past year we introduced you to Substack. At that time, I promised you that it was going to be the next best social media platform. To jump in because it was like getting in on Twitter in 2007. Little did I know just how right I was. There are new features coming down the pike to create an all in one social media platform for you and your readers. But more on that later.
For now…
Our new subscriber chat is a conversation space in the Substack app that I set up exclusively for us — kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post short prompts, thoughts, and updates on ScribeTribe and new trainings and launches so you can jump into the discussion.
To join our chat, you’ll need to download the Substack app (messages are sent via the app, not email). Turn on push notifications so you don’t miss a chance to join conversation as it happens.
How to get started
Download the app by clicking this link or the button below. Chat is only on iOS for now, but chat is coming to the Android app soon.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.
That’s it! Jump into my thread to say hi, and if you have any issues, check out Substack’s FAQ.
I’ve already started my first chat thread so come on over and say hello!
